First of the 4 amazing stops we made on our summer adventure was to amsterdam. I had to seriously rearrange my idea of day {and night} wear when I met Rob at our inaugural destination. Further detail to follow.

pretty nice little saturday
•••
On this day three years ago, it was a Saturday. It was a date that was a palindrome. It was warm.
•••
On this day three years ago, the whole entire world existed in one small Minnesota town.

Happy Anniversary.
To being in the same country for the next one.
To another 1,095 days of love.

Take From Me My Lace
Everybody|Everywear {lace}
This month's EBEW invitation is lace. I don't wear much lace {though I adore the antiquated appeal of it}. Fun fact; my wedding dress contained not a stitch of lace, in favor of gauze.
Whether white & crisp or black & slinky, it's tough to deny that lace balances young, doll-like qualities in masterful measure with elegance & wisdom.
I met this challenge by creating a faux bib on this sundress, layering a full lace blouse beneath it.

Garden State
Today I am home very sick on the couch. This post is being created across several 5-10 minute intervals in order to avoid total eyeball/sinus torture. Needless to say, I am not "dressed" today.
Fortunately, though, I'd venture to estimate that floral prints + floral emblems adorn at least 50% of my clothing and accessories {this blog's title is chosen for literal reasons as well as figurative ones}. This leaves me with several floral-printed post-posts to choose looks from.
Here is a retrospective including five of my favorite floraly features in the 9+ months of blog I've lived thus far {+ a little hair color journey}. Happy Spring!

Hey Big Spenda

Saturday night we had the distinct pleasure of attending The Duluth Playhouse's Fundraiser Gala with a "roaring 20's casino night" theme. It was a blast in every way, shape & form and turned out to be one of the most fun out-on-the-town nights we've had in a long time.Golly!

dress: Nice, France, cardigan, tights & jewelry: Charlotte Russe, headband: Forever21, shoes: Born {gift}, nail polish: China Glaze ~ Flyin' High.

::razzle dazzle::
The Duluth Playhouse's Fundraiser Gala ~ Roaring 20's Casino Night was as gorgeous as it was fun. Here are just a few of the several amazing interpretations of the dare to dress as well as some highlights of the stylish event overall.

The Other Sara
Last weekend, Peanut surprised me with tickets to see Sara Bareilles! I went with a pal and enjoyed the vocal stylings of the beautiful, funny, super talented and all-around charming performer. It was lovely.

Famous Amos
** Warning: The post you are about to read includes materials not part of the 30-for-30 challenge. Some forgiveness is recommended **
This year, for Valentine's Day, Peanut gifted me with tickets to see one of my most favorite musicians, Amos Lee. Not only did P get me tix -- he got us seats in the second row! I was so excited about this event {and rightfully so, it was an amazing night}.
{I got this comfy Mata Traders skirt and this awesome waist-length pea coat at the Electric Fetus on clearance recently. Between the two, I spent $35 and saved almost $100 off the original prices! Bliss.}
