photos by Peanut. False alarm. There was no storm. Annoying.
Here's my 14th ensemble. Almost to the half way mark (over a month later -- embarrassing).

This is the outfit I wore to P's closing night of Frost/Nixon. It was amazing. The show {which was already great at opening} grew by leaps & bounds. I had the distinct privilege of sitting in the front row and watching my dashing husband {+ the rest of the amazing cast} all up-close and personal-like. Afterward, I got to go to a party with all my new friends from in town as well as my old besties from out of town. Everyone in one place!
It was phenomenal.

We also stayed up rrrrealllly late. Three nights in a row. I haven't done that in a long time. My voice is still scratchy.

dress: Pura Vita, cardigan & boots: Target, earrings: Electric Fetus {gift}, cowl: knitted by my mom :)

The shoes are back -- and I'm still head over heels for them {no pun intended}. I did, however, get so tired of buckling & unbuckling them yesterday {once when I sat at my desk, after I got my boots off, then a second time when I took them off to put my boots on to leave for lunch, then again when I got back from lunch and switched back out of my boots, then again when I took them off to leave for the end of the day to put my boots back on...} that when it was time to take pictures, P was nice enough to take over buckle duties for me.

I love this dress too {it has pockets!}. I found it when I was vintage-ing with my good pal JennieB in Northeast Minneapolis. If you are ever in the area, you must check out Rewind.

This isn't what I wore to work. I realized when I got home that what I had worn to work was an outfit I should not wear again; comfortable, just not very flattering. So I changed. A girl can change her mind, right?

I put on this old reliable dress {that I have been known to wear for days on end, barefoot on a summer weekend}. We hung out with some friends, & this outfit served as socially-appropriate pajama-grade comfort. The very essence of Friday.

t-shirt, sundress, leggings & knee-highs: Target, floral cardigan: Forever 21, boots: Minnetonka, cowl & hat: knitted by my mom :)

This outfit was inspired by a color palette of Kendi's. She is great at sophisticated neutrals.
It snowed some more. Shocker. Many people had the day off today for MLK Jr. Day.

tiered dress: Forever 21, cardigan, tights & boots: Target, earrings: vintage, scarf: Nice, France, nail polish: Sally Hansen Salon Series ~ Thinking of Blue.

Plaid print + ruffley skirt {worn high}. This says square dance to me. But I'm cool with it. And I am sort of stomping through the four corners of this week & dancing into the holiday. All that's left to do is work, wrap & travel...

zippy: Forever 21 {gift from my dad), plaid tank: Sik Su, skirt: Wet Seal (about 6 years ago), leggings & belt: Target, boots: Skechers, earrings: Express, cowl: knitted by my mom :)

Do you have to be prefixin' a verb to use "un"? I think so.
I'm using blogetic license though.

Continuing the weather-inappropriate costuming of yesterday, I wore this bluebird dress as a sort of blatant expression of denial against the frigidity that was Wednesday.
Take that.

* Forget-Me-Not ~ bluebird print dress: H&M *
I wore this recently on my birthday {as a skirt} with leggings, a vest and the same belt andthe same long-sleeved undershirt. I'm a loose cannon.
